Principal Commissioning

On Thursday, March 20, St Paul’s Cathedral in Melbourne was filled with the School community and distinguished guests for the official commissioning of Mr Ben Jeacocke as the 10th Principal of Camberwell Grammar School.
This significant occasion marked an important milestone in the School’s history, and it was wonderful to have so many representatives from the Camberwell Grammar community uniting to celebrate this joyful and memorable event.
The ceremony featured an address from the Bishop, heartfelt prayers, musical performances, and a moving Presentation of Symbols representing a warm welcome and support for Ben.
Ben expressed his gratitude in being entrusted with the leadership of the School, and conveyed his optimism for the future:
‘I am grateful for the trust shown in me by the School Council and you, our Camberwell Grammar School community. I look forward to the journey ahead together, honouring the traditions of our past and looking with optimism towards the future, holding true to our mission to educate young men of character and integrity who strive to make a positive difference in the lives of others, just as AB Taylor imagined 139 years ago.’
