The newly formed Palm Court Orchestra began the evening, and performed in PAC Foyer from 6.15pm. At 7.00pm, the action moved into the Middleton Theatre where the main concert was performed. The featured ensembles included Highton Strings, CGS Chorale, Senior Stage Band, the Chamber Orchestra, the Double Bass Quartet, CGS Symphony Orchestra and CGS Big Band. The event was organised and led by Mr Ben Bishop, our Director of Music, and Ms Lisa Grosman, our Head of Strings and featured staff and students who performed superbly on the night.

The students clearly enjoyed playing to an appreciative audience and the night was also bittersweet as it featured some of our Year 12 students for the last time. The amazing talent of our students is testament to the quality of teaching from the wonderful music teachers here at CGS.
