Welcome to Camberwell Grammar School Zero Landfill Waste Open Day!
Open Day is a Zero Landfill Waste event and showcases the school’s commitment to Net Zero by 2030 initiative. Open Day stalls are using reusable, compostable or recycled items to reduce waste emissions and increase resource recovery. All single-use landfill items have been eliminated from the Camberwell Grammar School Open Day.
Correct waste stream information can be found at each Stall or refer to the table below. FOGO items go into GREEN BINS and will be processed into compost or soil conditioner. Container Deposit items go into BLACK BINS and recycle into new products and REUSABLE items go into PINK BINS to be used again.
Thank you to all families and visitors for managing your waste properly and in turn, supporting the Schools sustainability goals. At Camberwell Grammar School, students are encouraged to “Think Globally, Act Locally” for a sustainable future. For more information on the school’s sustainability journey, go to the Sustainability Team at Towards 2050 stall or visit Sustainability at Camberwell Grammar.
