Principal's Welcome
I am delighted to serve as the new Principal of Camberwell Grammar School. I look forward to leading this extraordinary community into an exciting new chapter as we continue to educate young men to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
At Camberwell Grammar School, we are committed to offering every student the best possible education to prepare them for life beyond school. As an independent Anglican day school for boys from Pre-Preparatory to Year 12, our mission is to nurture academic excellence alongside the personal growth of each student.
Our community is caring, values-driven and inclusive. We uphold a long tradition of respect, integrity and a commitment to making a positive impact. Our core values of Learning, Respect, Integrity, Courage and Optimism form the foundation of all we do. We strive to live these values each day, challenging assumptions, acting with honesty and fostering respectful collaboration.
We aim to educate the whole student, nurturing minds, character and a sense of responsibility to others. We want Camberwell Grammar students to be curious, resilient and engaged in their communities. They are always encouraged to participate fully in school life and embrace opportunities, from the classroom to the sports field, in the arts and through our extensive co-curricular program.
Founded in 1886, our school proudly upholds a rich tradition while embracing innovation to meet the evolving needs of our students. Dedicated peers, mentors and staff support students to discover their passions and reach their potential. Our motto Spectemur Agendo, 'By Our Deeds May We Be Known’, encourages our students to act with integrity and to strive to be good men who contribute meaningfully to our world.
I look forward to welcoming you to Camberwell Grammar School.
